InterGEO TV Shortfact - SITECO's Complete End-to-End Mobile Mapping Solution

Brent Gelhar, Toronto based Advisory Board Member of Siteco Informatica, interviewed by InterGEO TV, illustrates SITECO’s products showcased at InterGEO 2018 exhibition.

Here is an abstract of his interview.

New this year are dramatic improvements to the Road-SIT Survey software, the software which delivered as a standard with every Road Scanner system for asset management and feature extraction.

Developed in collaboration with the Bologna University Computer Vision Lab, Smart features have been integrated for working in a more accurate and automated way:.

- Geometric classification brings big advantages for edge detection and point-cloud editing. 

- Semantic classification that allows automated selective views of point clouds and object detection through a sophisticated 2D and 3D deep-learning algorithm.

The software is fully compatible with the most widespread mobile mapping systems such as the Optech-Lynx, Riegl-VMX, Topcon IPS3, Leica Pegasus, and of course SITECO’s own Road-Scanner product line.
