This extended partnership will bring the Road-Scanner Compact equipped with FARO Focus Laser Scanners worldwide. 

The system, suited for application in the field of asset management, hi-grade surveying, inspection, and so on, will allow FARO to meet the increasing market demand for appropriate Mobile Mapping Systems equipped with FARO Focus Laser Scanners.

The system is equipped with two FARO Focus3D Laser Scanners, a Ladybug5 30 megapixel 360° spherical camera, high quality Applanix Inertial Navigator. It is light-weight, self-calibrating, and suitable for any vehicle. It stands out among all the systems of its class for affordability, price and flexibility, also thanks to the possibility to use the Focus3DLaser Scanners in both static and dynamic mode.

Road-Scanner C is delivered with a powerful ergonomic software suite developed by SITECO to acquire data and edit the project geodatabase.The acquisition software, Road-SIT Survey, allows you to monitor the survey accuracy and the quality of imagery and point clouds, thanks to the real time tracking on the maps, the imagery previews and the GPS quality check.

FARO will advocate the new Road-Scanner “Compact” using their global sales network, while SITECO remains the main contact for sales and maintenance. This collaboration will help customers gain access to the trusted high-performance technology of SITECO through the wide sales network of FARO.
